Privacy Policy

Zedito is a design, photo and video editor made by Gurenka Creations, available on Android and iOS. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have. Most editing happens on your device; information leaves your device only when you use a feature that needs it.
Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name, email address and, for Google, your profile photo. If you choose Hide My Email with Apple, we receive Apple's relay address instead.
- Photos, videos and prompts you send to online AI tools. When you use an online AI feature (such as image generation, AI edit, AI sticker packs, Detail Boost or poster generation), the prompt you write and any photo you choose are sent to our servers to create the result.
- Designs you sync. With Cloud Sync, your drafts, fonts, brand kits and sticker favorites are stored in your account.
- Purchases. Payments are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive the purchase or transaction identifiers needed to confirm your subscription or credits. We never receive your card or bank details.
- App and device identifiers. An app-generated user ID and an installation ID keep your credits and history attached to you, and device integrity checks (Google Play Integrity, Apple App Attest) protect your account and credits from abuse.
- Usage and diagnostics. A daily check-in records that the app was used, with your country, platform and app version. Google Analytics for Firebase records app usage events such as sign-ups, exports, AI results and purchases, together with device and app information. Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) include device model, OS version and technical details of the crash.
- Notifications. If you allow notifications, we store a push token so we can send them.
On-Device Processing
Background removal, retouching, filters, most portrait tools, video editing and exports run on your device and are not uploaded. Voice typing uses your device's own speech recognition service. Projects you do not sync stay on your device.
How We Use Your Information
- To create the results you request from AI tools and keep them in your AI history
- To provide Cloud Sync and restore your designs on a new device
- To verify subscriptions and credit purchases and keep your balance accurate
- To prevent fraud and abuse of paid features
- To fix crashes, understand how the app is used and measure our advertising
- To send notifications you have allowed
- To show ads in the free version
We do not sell your personal information.
Service Providers and Third Parties
- OpenAI and RunPod — process prompts and photos for online AI tools
- Amazon Web Services and Neon — host our servers, database, results and Cloud Sync storage
- Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple — authentication
- Google Play Billing and the Apple App Store — payments
- Google Play Integrity and Apple App Attest — device integrity checks
- Google Firebase — analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase), crash reporting (Crashlytics) and push notifications (Cloud Messaging)
- Google AdMob — ads in the free version
These providers process information only to provide their service to us.
Advertising
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier. Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice later from the app's privacy options. On iOS, ads are personalised only if you allow tracking when asked. A Premium subscription removes ads.
Data Retention
- Photos uploaded for AI processing are deleted from our servers within 7 days.
- AI results and your AI history are kept while your account exists, so you can open them again.
- Cloud Sync data is kept until you delete it or delete your account.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account and everything stored with it at any time: in the app under Account > Delete account, or on the web at zedito.gurenka.com/delete-account. This permanently removes your data from our servers. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Zedito's access to your Apple ID.
Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections, and each account's data is isolated so no other user can access it.
Children
Zedito is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
